Several bits of news from today:
By now you are probably very familiar with the fact that Roberts has been confirmed as the 17th Chief Justice of the United States. Vote was 78-22, with all 55 Republicans and 23 Democrats voting yes. See Michelle Malkins write up as to who among the Democrats voted which way.
California's Governor Schwarzenegger has vetoed the state's gay marriage bill. Kudos to the Governor. Particularly since 5 years ago the voters approved a ballot measure defining marriage as between a man and a woman. The state's Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez is upset, but sorry, Arnold sided with the voters on this one.
While we're on the subject of marriage's, I pray we never see this. Seems that, due to a loophole in the civil unions laws in the Netherlands, we now have polygamy included with their homosexual unions. (HT: La Shawn Barber and Michelle Malkin)

I hadn't heard about Schwarzenegger vetoing the gay marriage bill. That's very good news.
