I think Hugh may be on to something here. With his post title, "Schumer's Category 1 Scandal Upgraded to a Category 2. Senator Seeks Shelter", he alludes to something we've become all the more familiar with lately. Hurricane Categories.
There are definitive, somewhat objective scales for hurricanes (Saffir-Simpson Scale), and for tornadoes (Fujita Scale). Maybe we need a defined scale for political scales (the Hewitt scale, or the Hewitt-Colonel Steve scale????).
What do we measure it on? How much MSM ink it gets? How much blogging electronic "ink" it gets? The number and class of convictions that stem from it? Any ideas?
