Don Knotts Dies at 81

All within the past year, 3 folks from some of my favorite comedies have passed away.  Bob Denver, of Gilligan's Island, Don Adams of Get Smart, and now Don Knotts.  He's best known for his role as Barney Fife of The Andy Griffith Show.

I still laugh thinking about all the situations he was in as Barney.  Picturing him with his one bullet, unloaded, ready for whatever comes his way.  Ready to follow the letter of the law, capturing the "wicked" old ladies jaywalking.  Wishing to "nip it, nip it in the bud!", or considering ideas "nuts, N U T, nuts!".

Mr. Fife, we'll miss you.
