The Hedgehog Report mentioned today that Kentucky's filing deadline has passed. This means we now have a complete list of all those running for this year's House elections.
As noted by the list, Anne Northup has 4 competitors running in this year's democratic primary. Those will be Andrew Horne, Burrel Charles Farnsley, James Walter Moore, and John Yarmuth.
John Yarmuth is the name with the most recognition in the race. He is the editor of the LEO weekly newspaper. Andrew Horne is a Marine Corp veteran and a Louisville lawyer. Burrel Charles Farnsley is the son of former mayor of Louisville Charles Farnsley. The most unknown is James Walter Moore, who as of this writing I was unable to find any information about.
After the 4 way primary, Anne may have a run for her money. The financial side will probably be the easiest, since the democrats will be using some of what little they have in the primary.
