Drudge noted Kerry's statement today that 53% of American children do not graduate from high school. Mr. Kerry, since I did graduate, let me help you with some math.
If 53% don't graduate, that means 47% do graduate. Assuming, that is, that your numbers are right. But alas, Michelle Malkin shows that the latest census numbers say that 83.6% of Americans have worn caps and gowns.
Maybe it's your own state, Mr. Kerry, where those numbers might have come from. Whoops, wrong again. Massachusetts' numbers were higher than the national graduation rate, coming in at 87.7%. Maybe it's the state with the worst graduation rate. Again, wrong. Mississippi came in last with 77.4% of their citizens graduating.
Maybe it's 47% of the Kerry family that graduated from high school. Now those numbers we don't have. But don't wait for the forms allowing the release of that data.
