Bill Requiring Photo ID's at Elections

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has introduced an amendment to the immigration bill.  This amendment would require a photo id at all federal elections by Jan 1, 2008.

Great idea!!  As mentioned in a comment on the blog post, even Mexico requires a photo id.  Theirs is actually one step further...a voter id card.
