Small Town Theater Temporarily Shuts Down

A cinema owner in Hoopeston, IL, recently shutdown his theater for two weeks rather than run movies he found objectionable.  "The movies are so bad and I don't need the money ... I just didn't think I should use my high-quality facilities to show people vomiting on screen," said Greg Boardman, the owner of the theaters.  Two recent movie sequels led to his 14 day hiatus...."Jackass" and "Beerfest".

Of course, some folks complained that all Greg did was ruin some small town kids' weekends.  Some of us, tho, kinda think he made it better.  I mean, if we parents are here to influence the minds of our youth, why allow "garbage in" now and then complain about the garbage coming out of them later?
