I have been rather impressed that for the most part, when conservatives have real legal problems and legal indictments, they end up seeing the light of day. Even in cartoons.
I am also impressed with the push from the minority leadership of the Senate to immediately call for ethics committee hearings on Larry Craig. I do understand and agree with Captain Ed's sentiment that the people of Idaho should have the final say in who they have represent them in the Senate. If they want someone like him to continue representing them, that is their problem. But the minority leadership in the Senate is also taking the right move in pushing him from senior committee posts. They have as much at stake in choosing their leadership as the people of Idaho have in choosing their Senators.
However this turns out, I believe the Republicans moves are much more honorable than the other party's dealings with ones like William "cold cash" Jefferson.
