The Chinese government has topped all with the latest in absurd laws. They are now making reincarnation, without government permission, illegal.
After you get off the floor laughing....think about it. If reincarnation is true, just how does a government control it? Another angle.....many governments have been accused of playing God....now one is saying they are really going to be God.
Of course, as a Christian, reincarnation isn't even on my radar. Therefore, it rather surprised me to see this statistic at the end of the article:
According to a 2005 Gallup poll, 20 percent of all U.S. adults believe in reincarnation. Recent surveys by the Barna Group, a Christian research nonprofit, have found that a quarter of U.S. Christians, including 10 percent of all born-again Christians, embrace it as their favored end-of-life view.
Huh? Anybody read Hebrews 9:27 lately? I take it as humans dying once...not over and over again.
