I voted today during the noon hour and my polling place was surprisingly crowded at that time. Granted, it was lunch time, but it still surprised me how many folks were there. All of them obviously found there way to the polls.
That was not so true for one of the Courier-Journal reporters.
I went to the wrong polling spot this morning. I could blame it on the early time – it was 6 a.m. – or I could blame it on there being two different polling locations, at two different churches, on the same road. Either way, it illustrated how even people who report on elections can get confused about where they’re supposed to vote.

This coming from the local newspaper that tells us how to vote. No wonder they can't find the real news stories.
I'd blame not finding the polling place on a couple of things. One would be not voting often. Those who vote on a regular basis know where they vote. Those who vote regular and have moved check for the new precinct polling place. Secondly, those who are unsure check for where to vote ahead of time.
I will give Sara a lot of credit for pointing out how to keep from having the problems she had. Here in Jefferson County you can check online here: http://www.lojic.org/apps/voter/index.cfm?lojicyes. Or call 502-574-6100.
