The Courier-Journal reports today about WHAS dropping Joe Elliott and his 9pm-midnight show. He's being replaced by Michael Savage's "The Savage Nation" syndicated show.
I see this as one more local show being dropped for one of the big nationals, with WHAS losing more of it's local flavor.
I agree more with some of Savage's stands on issues like illegal immigration and English as the national language. However, what little I heard of Savage while he was on WGTK for awhile actually made me rather sick. His on-air personality has a lot to be desired in my opinion. Leaves me wondering how he's ranked third behind Rush and Sean Hannity.
Outside of Rush and Cards games, I rarely listen to WHAS anyway. So my opinions won't gain them a listener anyway.
