the Dems can't be too happy with the bets being placed on them since the beginning of the Denver convention. Seems that Intrade's wagering on Obama has gone to a new low, and the money on McCain is up to a new high. Wasn't the messiah supposed to get a bump....up? Not down?
What little I did watch the one this evening, it did seem that his teleprompter was working. No noticable gaffes. If elected, I sure hope that 3am phone call comes equipped with the same teleprompter.
Did anyone notice during his speech the lapel pin he was wearing? I had to tune in the high def signal to make it out, and imagine my shock when I found it was an American flag. I thought one didn't need to wear one to be patriotic?
