The past 24 hours has given us so much to work with, considering all the hoop-la around Obama's VP announcement:
- Jeff Poole wonders aloud if Barack Obama's health care plans will be as effective as his text messaging plan.
- Joe Biden said in his own words that Barack is not ready. He actually said he'd prefer to run against or with John McCain. Now look who he's running with.
- Silicon Alley Insider has done some rough estimates on just how much that text messaging probably raked in for the wireless carriers. Some of the costs were on the campaign side (sending) and some on the receiving side. Looks like Barack is well-practiced on his liberal ways, sticking others with the bill.
- Peter Wehner of National Review Online produces an analysis of Joe Biden's speech today. He mentions that today's speech is nothing new for Joe, but the best line came from his 10-year-old son. "But for the uninitiated, it [the speech] is something to enjoy. As my 10-year-old son put it to me after hearing Biden's speech, "This is going to be like Get Smart."" (HT: Hugh Hewitt)
