International Notice

It seems the French press has chosen to quote Kentucky bloggers as indicative of "Republican" bloggers nationwide.  The online Le Monde (France) has chosen to quote moi and Brian Goettl, of Conservative Edge, concerning the coverage of Sarah Palin in the liberal press.

I do beg to differ with Le Monde in what might be seen as a minor issue.  Our blog here is CONSERVATIVE Musings, not Republican Musings.  Although conservatives like myself have found ourselves more at home in the GOP, I personally haven't always been in agreement with them.  The Sara Palin VP choice brings out one difference I've had of late.  Until this choice was made, I was one on the sidelines, rather unexcited about our moderate presidential candidate.  I found myself sadly picturing myself holding my nose while voting in November, picking the better of two evils.

Yes, I am one of those estatic about Governor Palin's choice to complete the Republican ticket.  I say again - Wise choice, John.
