Lady Colonel and I spent part of the evening toggling back and forth between several news channels. Some were more conservative (read: Fox News) and others were liberal and more liberal (read: CNN and MSNBC).
After watching each of their coverages of Sarah Palin, I am seriously wondering what the liberal press is trying to accomplish. Both Lady Colonel and I reeled from the venom being thrown at Governor Palin. Both of us believe this will backfire tremendously, against the very candidate they wish to help. To paraphrase The Anchoress, who puts it well, Sarah and Bristol are causing the left to publicly meltdown.
This is sad to watch unfold. Women, like Lady Colonel, are seeing this as demeaning to females like themselves...and it is very demeaning. As more and more see this repulsive behavior, it's going to turn them away from the liberal ticket.
Keep it up liberal press. When it's all over, you may turn out to be the best folks on the conservative side.
