So, "Joe the Plumber" is not a model citizen. It doesn't change what Mr. Obama said to him about "spreading the wealth" and that being "good for everybody". Those statements were not coerced and are a true picture of the socialist-leaning ideology that Mr. Obama tries to hide behind his rhetoric. There is no perfect governmental system, but socialism has failed every time it has been tried. Capitalism has its ups and downs, but as long as it is practiced morally, it is successful and fair. Liberalism pushes us towards socialism directly by encouraging the growth of government. It does so indirectly by undermining the moral foundations that make capitalism successful. Barack Obama has one of the most liberal voting records in the U.S. Senate. Is this the kind of "change" you really want?
