Back around Independence day, 2008, gasoline in the Louisville area was hovering around $4.25 a gallon. Everyone was saying it was all Bush's fault.
This, I saw prices around $1.89 a gallon, as part of a price slide that's been going on since that $4.25 mentioned earlier. When I saw this price, I began to wonder if the same people who blamed Bush for $4.25 would blame him for the $1.89 price.
As Hugh Hewitt notes, President-elect Barack Obama has already made motions toward limiting domestic drilling. Just remember the current gas prices you see around you today. In two years, you can judge via Senate and House elections just how well Capitol Hill dealt with fuel prices. And in four years, just how well President Obama dealt with these same fuel prices.
