Since last March, one of the critters we've had around the house is a Roomba Discovery for Pets. We went all out getting one that runs at a scheduled time each day.
The Roomba itself worked great. When it worked. The first two eventually died, under warranty. So, lucky for me, I had them replaced free. The first, within a month, had the suction motor quit on it. The second one had the brush motors quit on it.
Alas, the third one died today. It runs for about two minutes, then quits. For the past two months, the small speaker in it had quit working, so whatever diagnostic tones it could generate are lost to my ears.
Granted, sometimes I think I live in the dustiest house in Louisville. However, I think I'll be calling it quits with attempting another robotic purchase for vacuuming.
